Welcome

Hi, and welcome to the homepage of Christ Church Greenbank. Please feel free to look around the site and find out more about who we are, what we do and what we believe.

We currently have one service each Sunday at 10:30am. It is roughly 45 minutes long with music, prayer and time spent looking at the Bible. The service has something for everyone, whatever age you are and whether you would call yourself a Christian or are just interested to find out more.

If you are planning to come along, and are able to do so, then please do let us know by contacting the church office (details below). This will give us the opportunity to plan ahead, let you know how we are keeping the service Covid-secure and share how you can stay safe during the service.

Each week you'll also find a pre-recorded service under the This Sunday tab above, as well as things for kids aged 0-11 to do.

If you live locally and you're self-isolating we'd also love to be able to help you practically in any way that we can. You can leave a message at our church office or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

    10.30 service

Our 10.30 service normally lasts about 45 minutes, and contains all of what you might expect from a church service. We listen to songs sung by the band, we pray, and we listen to God’s word. Sadly due to the pandemic there are no groups for children and young people at the moment but children of any age are welcome. We hope to re-start groups for young people, children and a Creche as soon as possible.

This service can also be accessed online by clicking on the This Sunday tab.

    Why go to Church?

We gather every week as a church to hear from God’s word, to pray, to sing God’s praises, and to encourage one another. If you want to know more about the Christian faith, then coming to church and experiencing the life of the church family is the best way of understanding who Jesus is, and why people follow Him.
